Weekly Meditation

Everyone is welcome. No registration is required

 

Lam Rim Study Group - every fourth Monday of each month (SUSPENDED until further notice)

 

Dan Cox is leading monthly Lam Rim study/meditation sessions on the fourth Monday of each month at the Waverly Library, 285 Red River Road. The Winter/Spring 2020 sessions will be held January 27, February 24, March 23 and April 27 from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm.

Lam Rim translates as "the stages of the path to enlightenment". These sessions provide an opportunity to study the philosophical foundations of Tibetan Buddhism.

 

Weekly Sunday Meditation (SUSPENDED until further notice)

 

Our weekly meditation sessions are offered at the Bodymind Centre on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:15 am. 

The first, third, fourth, and the occasional fifth Sunday of the month is a practice of mindfulness meditation. 

The second Sunday of the month is Medicine Buddha practice, a guided meditation that helps participants activate their healing energies to help themselves and others.

2nd Monday of the month – 6:00 to 7:15 pm

Vajrasattva Practice

Audience: All Are Welcome

 

3rd Monday of the month – 6:00 to 7:15 pm

Black Manjushri Practice

Facilitators: Debi LaMusga; Jennifer Tett; Dan Cox; Chris Norman

Audience: All Are Welcome

 

4th Monday of the month – 6:00 to 7:15 pm

Medicine Buddha Practice

Weekly Friday Meditation

 

Chittamani Tara Completion Stage Practice  6:00 to 8:15 pm

Facilitator: Charlie Bryan

Audience: Restricted to Chittamani initiates who have completed counting retreat and fire puja

 

All Monday and Friday meditation gatherings are virtual and held via Zoom. All times are in the Eastern Time Zone (North America)
