Lam Rim Study Group - every fourth Monday of each month
Dan Cox is leading monthly Lam Rim study/meditation sessions on every fourth Monday of each month at the Waverly Library on 285 Red River Road. The summer sessions begin at 6:30 pm and end at 7:45 pm as the library closes at 8:00 pm. The sessions for the summer months are scheduled for June 24, July 22, and August 26, 2019.

Lam Rim translates as "the stages of the path to enlightenment". These sessions provide an opportunity to study the philosophical foundations of Tibetan Buddhism.
Weekly Sunday Meditation - Suspended for the summer months until September.
Our weekly meditation sessions are offered at the Bodymind Centre on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:15 am.
The first, third, fourth, and the occasional fifth Sunday of the month is a practice of mindfulness meditation.
The second Sunday of the month is Medicine Buddha practice, a guided meditation that helps participants activate their healing energies to help themselves and others.
Weekly Monday Meditation
We alternate Chittamani Tara and Black Manjushri group meditation on Mondays. We meet Monday evenings at Urban Abbey, 308 Red River Road. Sessions commence at 6:00 pm and conclude at 8:30 pm. The suggested donation is $5.00 per session which we give to Urban Abbey.
Prerequisites for the practices: Chittamani Tara initiation for the Chittamani Tara practice, Black Manjushri initiation for the Black Manjushri practice.
Weekly Friday Meditation
We practice Chittamani Tara group meditation on Fridays. We meet Friday evenings at the Bodymind Centre at #8-105 Villa Street. The sessions commence at 6:00 pm and conclude at 7:30 pm.
